About Us

The mission of the IRNIN is to facilitate full immigrant participation in decision-making processes, promote respect for immigrant contributions, and build inclusive communities. We support immigrants regardless of their immigration status.

As part of the Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM), our focus for the next several months will be comprehensive immigration reform. We will also continue to advocate for legal reform on many other immigrant-related issues on the local, state and federal level, provide support for immigrants and newcomers, and serve as a vehicle for communication on various topics effecting immigrants.

Funding and support is provided in part by Nebraska Appleseed Center for Law in the Public Interest and Catholic Charities of Iowa. For more information or to get involved with the network, contact IRNIN Iowa Coordinator Carlos Rios or Nebraska Contact Darcy Tromanhauser.
